1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Liquid Amber Partners LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), the operator of pouredvelvet.com and the companion web application served at pouredvelvet.com/app/ (together, the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

The Site provides a curated library of cocktail recipes, drink history and bartending guides, and a free companion web application that helps you track your home bar, save favorites, keep tasting notes, and get recipe suggestions based on ingredients you have on hand. The web app includes an optional AI-powered bar photo scanner that identifies bottles from images you upload. No purchase is required to use the Site.

3. Responsible Drinking & Age Restrictions

Poured Velvet publishes recipes and editorial content about alcoholic beverages. Content on the Site is intended for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction (21 years of age or older in the United States; the applicable legal drinking age elsewhere). By accessing or using the Site, you represent and warrant that you are of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction.

Nothing on the Site is intended to encourage excessive or irresponsible consumption of alcohol. Please drink responsibly, know your limits, and never drive under the influence. If you choose to drink, do so in moderation.

Alcohol is not appropriate for everyone. 9. User Accounts and Content

If you create an account in the companion web app, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Data you enter into the app (pantry items, favorites, tasting notes, tags) remains yours; by submitting it to the app you grant us a limited license to store and display it back to you as part of providing the service. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from the app settings.

10. Intellectual Property

All Site content — including text, recipes (in the expression of their instructions), graphics, photography, logos, application code, and design — is owned by or licensed to Liquid Amber Partners LLC and is protected by United States and international copyright and trademark laws. You may view and share individual pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.

11. User Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Site to violate any law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, its servers, or the accounts of other users; (c) interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Site's infrastructure; (d) use automated scraping, crawling, or data-mining tools except for well-behaved search-engine crawlers respecting robots.txt; (e) upload to the AI bar scanner any image that is obscene, infringes third-party rights, or violates applicable law; or (f) reproduce or re-host the Site's content in a manner that presents it as your own.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including affiliate partners, manufacturers, and reference sources, and integrates with third-party services such as Firebase Authentication and Google Gemini. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites or services. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liquid Amber Partners LLC, its members, officers, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or reliance on any content — including without limitation damages related to the consumption of alcoholic beverages, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Liquid Amber Partners LLC and its affiliates from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this paragraph limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
